Originally used during WW1 as a chemical warfare agent, today chlorine is used to treat municipal water supplies to kill microorganisms.

    This unit is easy to clean: simply unscrew the filter housing and reverse the cartridge!

    It should be cleaned every other month. The Befit shower filter is especially good for areas where the water conditions produce lots of sediment and other particulates. The filter should be changed once a year.
