Pesticide exposures cause many deaths and serious illnesses every year. Was your suburb a farm a few years ago? If so, your yard and local parks could contain pesticide residues. Did the previous owner of your home manage the lawn and weeds with chemicals? The only way to know for sure is to test. Our home kits test for only a fraction of the pesticides that have been used in the U.S., but it’s a good, inexpensive way to start looking.
