Trellis Earth™ bioplastic containers are made from corn polymers, starches and complementary ingredients to create a blend that is 100% biodegradable and microwave or freezer safe -- and they're just as effective as conventional plastic bowls.
These products are based on PLA technology but contain added PLA-related ingredients, resulting in a more sturdy and heat resistant product. These bowls can be microwaved with no leaching of any toxic material.
