Hot food? Oily food? No problem! These compostable heavy-duty hinged containers are strong and secure enough to handle any type of cuisine.
Pressed in a high-heat, high-pressure process, these hinged containers are an economic and sturdy selection of tableware which is more rigid in service than paper hinged containers. They can handle hot, wet or oily foods, and are completely compostable after use! They are soak proof, have no plastic or wax lining applied to them and can be used for both hot and cold items. In addition, being a natural material, hot food won't 'sweat' inside these containers. More than that, they are absolutely beautiful in a light natural color.
Made from a mix of natural fibers, including reed, bagasse (the waste fiber from pressing sugar cane), straw and wood pulp, these hinged containers offer a true eco-friendly alternative to Styrofoam. No trees were harmed to make these hinged containers and they're bleached with hydrogen peroxide, which means no harmful chlorine in our water supply!

Please note, composting is required for biodegradation and these compostable cups will biodegrade within 30 days in a commercial composting facility, and within 90 days in a home composting system.

All of our products are completely traceable to its source at all times, every time. We will make available to our customers certification of analysis on all products delivered by lot number, ensuring that each cup, bowl, and spoon is individually traceable to the source. This new program is head and shoulders above anything that currently exists, because each batch will be certified as opposed to a blanket certification that lasts ten years. This guarantee is available only through the Completely Compostable Vegware US.
