These are the longest of fibers. They have been thoroughly combed clean and then boiled and wet spun into a very fine and consistent yarn. We twist multiple strands of this yarn together to make 2 ply and 4 ply variations, which we weave together into this fabric. It is woven with great pressure and precision, resulting in a smooth, consistent, and very tight weave. After weaving, we put this fabric through a very intensive finishing process several times, during which it is immersed in boiling water and pressed with great heat and pressure. This pre-shrinks the fabric, making the weave even tighter and more consistent.
