Please note: Intensity of UV light drops considerably with each millimeter that the light source is moved away from the surface being cleaned. Therefore, the further the distance, the less effective the light is at sterilizing. UV rays are emitted perpendicularly to the surface of a lamp, so the cleaning light should be held as near and flat to the desired cleaning area as possible.
