This compostable lit fits the Earth Cup™! Made from renewable resources, the Earth Cup™ is 100% compostable and petroleum free, all which make this cup very earth friendly. Meets ASTM standard for Composting and currently under testing by the U.S navy for marine degradation.

Most hot cups are coated with Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE), a petrochemical plastic. LDPE is non-renewable and non-compostable, making the only methods of disposal; litter, land fills or incineration. Earth Cup™ is coated with earth friendly bio based material that uses less energy and significantly less greenhouse gas footprint.

Lids will fit both the brown or white Earth Cup™. Please keep in mind that these compostable lids are made exclusively for Earth Cups™ and may not fit other compostable cups.

Please note that these lids are suitable for liquids the reach temperatures of 185 degrees. If you are serving coffee or tea at higher temperatures, please be sure to wait until the beverage has slightly cooled before putting on a lid.
