We at Green Home have spent 10 years championing the BYO (Bring Your Own) water bottle movement. We've tried them all, love many of them, but this is the first one that really takes it to another level.
Two brothers, Jeff and Travis, came up with the idea while river rafting in Oregon. They decided there has to be a better way. Size:The 12oz bottle weighs The 18 oz bottle weighs 10.2 ounces with cap, is 10 1/4" tall and 3" in diameter. And, the 24 oz bottle weighs 12.2 ounces with cap, is 12 1/4" tall and 3" in diameter.
Double Wall Vacuum Insulated: Keeps hot liquids hot and cold liquids cold. The key lies in our patent pending, stainless steel, double wall insulated construction. By leaving a vacuum void between the interior and exterior walls of the bottles, liquids within are insulated from the elements without - hot or cold. Simple and extremely effective. Hot liquids stay steamy for 12 hours or more -even buried deep in glacial snow- while cold liquids stay refreshingly cool for at least 24 hours, long after the day trail turns hot and dusty.
Every Hydro Flask product is 100% BPA-free. Our bottles are constructed from uncoated 18/8 stainless steel, so there is no danger of a liner getting scratched and releasing the toxic chemical BPA into your beverage. Consequently, your Hydro Flask bottle can keep hot liquids hot without the leaching chemicals that may occur with plastic bottles and aluminum bottles.
(The hazards of BPA have long been suspected, though confirmed only as recently as 2006. It has been shown to contribute to hazardous conditions such as developmental toxicity, carcinogenic effects, heart disease, diabetes, neurotoxicity, and abnormally high levels of certain liver enzymes. It has also been linked to obesity, cancer and possible brain damage. )
No Sweat: Pack it with ice cubes. Fill it with water. Set it on a lacquered coffee table with fear. The double-walled insulation of the Hydro Flask will keep it from sweating and leaving those rings that would otherwise haunt her through many a sleepless night.
No Hot Hands: Hot beverages are supposed to warm you from the inside-out, not the other way around. Hydro Flask's double wall insulated construction ensures your hot liquids stay warm until you need them, without your bottle turning into a hot potato.
We created a thicker membrane area between the two walls that will allow beverages to maintain their hotness for up to 12 hours and even longer Heat doesn't get out; cold doesn't creep in and, well- vice versa.

Following a few simple maintenance steps will increase the longevity of your bottle, while ensuring every sip you take from your Hydro Flask in the coming years is just as clean and pure as the first.
Before initial use we recommend you wash your Hydro Flask with hot soapy water, maybe even a little baking soda mixed in. Put the lid on. Shake-shake-shake. Rinse. Fill. DRINK!
And, after every use, please rinse with warm soapy water, and baking soda if you like. Let air dry with lid off.
Can my new Hydro Flask hold juice?
Yep. Juice, water, alcohol, ice, warms, colds - any and all will taste great out of your stainless steel Hydro Flask bottle. Our bottles are made from food-grade stainless steel. As long as you care for your bottle by washing and rinsing it after use, what comes out will taste just as it did going in.
Can I put my Hydro Flask bottle in the Freezer?
No, we do not recommend putting your Hydro Flask bottle in the freezer. For maximum temperature efficiency, we recommend pre-cooling, and pre-warming. Simply place cold (even ice) water or warm water in the bottles, replace the lid, and let stand for five to ten minutes before replacing with your beverage of choice.
Can I put my Hydro Flask bottle in the microwave?
File this one under NO, NO, NEVER. Your Hydro Flask is not meant to go in the microwave. For that matter, if you're naturally inclined to put metal objects in the microwave, we wholeheartedly recommend finding a safer avenue to a hot meal. Like eating out.
Furthermore, we do not recommend drinking hot beverages directly from any of our wide mouth products. Too hot liquids can scald the user. Keep out of reach of small children when product contains warm to hot liquids.
How should I clean my Hydro Flask?
We recommend washing all of your Hydro Flask products in hot soapy water, rinsing well, then air drying with the cap off to ensure the maximum useful life of your container. If the bottle has set for some time and needs a really strong cleaning, we recommend mixing white vinegar with baking soda, scrubbing with a bristled dish brush, then washing and rinsing normally.
Are your vacuum insulated bottles dishwasher safe?
We do not recommend putting your Hydro Flask bottles in the dishwasher. Our products are printed with extremely tough ink. However, we opted for an Eco- friendly ink over one that may withstand the dishwasher better. So even if the logo and coating come off, the bottle is still 100% safe. We suggest hand washing your Hydro Flask.
How can I maximize how long my Hydro Flask keeps its temperature?
We recommend pre-chilling or pre-heating the inner layer prior to use. For cold liquids, fill it with ice cold water, put the lid on, shake it up, empty and then add your liquid, topping it off with a few extra ice cubes for good measure. Similarly, for hot liquids, fill with hot tap water in, screw on lid, let stand for 3-5 min, then dump out the water and replace it with your favorite winter warmer.
If I fly on a non-pressurized plane, will my Hydro Flask have a problem with the vacuum layer at altitude?
Not at all. And they are not a problem to check onto planes either. Why wait for the flight attendant to pour you two sips when you can be set for the duration of your flight?
Lifetime Warranty
We are so convinced that Hydro Flasks® are the best vacuum-sealed insulated bottles available that we guarantee every Hydro Flask against manufacturers defects for 100 years or one lifetime, whichever comes first!
There's no warranty card to fill out or receipt to hang onto. You dont even have to worry about taking your Hydro Flask back to the store where you purchased it.
We encourage you to send your Hydro Flask by a traceable method (such as UPS or insured mail) and in a sturdy cardboard box. Hydro Flask is not responsible for lost or misdirected packages.
Once your Hydro Flask is received by us, it will be inspected by our Warranty Department. If we determine that your Warranty Claim is the result of a manufacturers defect, we will replace your Hydro Flask and ship a brand new one back to you free of charge. If we determine that your Warranty Claim is NOT the result of a manufacturers defect, you will be responsible for paying to have your Hydro Flask shipped back to you.
Your Warranty Claim Hydro Flask will be replaced by the same SKU. If the same SKU is no longer available, it will be replaced by one of similar size and color and will not be of lesser MSRP value. Requested substitutions will not be honored.
This warranty extends only to you, the original purchaser of the Hydro Flask, and lasts for 100 years or one lifetime, whichever comes first. This warranty covers all parts of the Hydro Flask and applies to defects or failure during standard use, except for: loss-theft, dishwasher use or normal wear and tear (dents-scratches etc).

Even before the very first Hydro Flask was ever produced, a tremendous amount of time, energy, and yes even a bit of blood, sweet, and tears went into creating the absolute best Stainless Steel bottle on the planet.
Many of our questions and concerns were the same as yours. We believe that to be an active participant in the world today requires more than a mere passing interest in the social and economical topics that we are all currently facing.
After all of the frequent flyer miles were used, the suitcases were unpacked, and the dust had settled, we found that we really are best off (at least for now) having our bottles hand crafted in China.
After numerous visits, reports, emails, pictures, and phone calls we realized that China is NOT one big sweat shop that the US media would like us to believe. They do some things that are not quite up to Americas standards and we are by no means trying to understate that. We are, however, trying to help spread the word that there are many reputable business in China that practice many of the same work standards that we enjoy here in the US.
At Hydro Flask we require each of the factories that we work with to operate ethically, fairly, and to treat all of their employees with the utmost respect and dignity that they deserve. To that end, our management team makes regular quality assurance visits to our factories in Asia. We continually monitor that our high standards are achieved. Even though were proud of all the work weve accomplished so far, we know our standards program is, by no means, perfect. Therefore, we are constantly looking for opportunities to improve and grow our fair labor program to influence both change and knowledge.
While factory assessments remain the focal point of our fair treatment program, they are only part of a multifaceted approach that addresses the root causes of any noncompliance issues at the factories and business with which we work.
