These socks are made with the most sustainable materials and methods to provide basic, comfortable, durable wear. Result: these socks are the ones you will choose to wear again and again. They are made from certified organic cotton. The socks do have elastic in them, as 100% cotton socks do not hold their fit, stretch, tend to sag on the calf and will not tolerate the repeated washing and drying (and walking and running) socks endure. But our customers want 100% cotton and nothing else!
Our manufacturer's unique approach to solving the problem is to make socks using a corespun yarn that contains soem lycra and nylon. So around 1/2% of the sock is
polyester, far less than other socks. All of our
low impact dyes now meet or exceed the pending North American Organic Fiber Processing standards, which set specific limits for dyestuff, including metals allowed and discharge in effluent water.
89% Certified Organic Cotton, 10% Nylon, 1% Lycra
Men's sizes, but if too big, just wash in hot water and if necessary, dry on hot and they will shrink!
