Made from Organic Cotton, these legwarmers are bleached with hydrogen, or dyed with low impact dyes. Why is this important? Because Conventional Cotton uses about 23% of the world's insecticides while using less than 3% of the cropland. It takes about one-third of a pound of chemicals to grow enough conventional cotton for one T-shirt. And on top of that a lot of conventional cotton uses chlorine bleaching and heavy metal dye processes. This is a huge negative environmental impact. But you can help!
