We carry Coyuchi's organic cotton duvets in every fabric style Coyuchi manufactures. Surround your comforter in organic style with this 230 thread count, quality organic cotton duvet. The organic cotton used in these duvets is processed into fabric in a natural fashion, without the use of chemicals. The fabric is preshrunk using steam to keep its fit. The white duvet fabric is bleached using only mild hydrogen peroxide rather not harsh chemical bleaches. They are constructed with the opening at the bottom.
All duvets are machine-washable warm or cold.
These duvets are Wisteria, a pattern made from a jacquard weave. The Jacquard weave, used to make allover figured fabrics such as brocades, tapestries, and damasks, is woven on a loom having a Jacquard attachment to control individual warps. Fabrics of this type are high end because of the time and skill involved in making the Jacquard cards, preparing the loom to produce a new pattern, and the slowness of the weaving operation. The Jacquard weave usually combines two or more basic weaves, with different weaves used for the design and the background.
