Planted on only 3 percent of arable land, traditional cotton crops account for 25 percent of the total pesticides and herbicides used annually - about 350 million pounds per year.
By turning the cotton into fabric without the use of chemicals, the cotton fibers retain both their softness and strength, make these sheets an incredibly durable product! The fabric is preshrunk using steam to keep its fit. White fabrics are bleached using only mild hydrogen peroxide rather than harsh chemical bleaches.
Sateen is a two-sided fabric that is lustrous on one side and more matte on the other. It is light catching and
dyes well. The sateen fabrics have a silky hand and an ideal density for cool-weather sleeping.
Available in a full range of standard sizes. All products should be washed cold, gentle cycle.
Our Pillow Shams are available in Boudoir, Standard, King and Euro sizes. The Boudoir Sham has a two-inch flange; other sizes have a two-and-a-half inch flange. All have opeings at the back with a six-inch overlap.
