These top mattresses are made with all natural organic cotton, so your surroundings are non-toxic while you sleep. They are about 1.5" thick and hand tufted. The elastic used to secure it to your mattress/futon is made of cotton and natural rubber. If your mattress or futon is thicker than 8" let us know so that we can accommodate your desires.
As with any top mattress, regular rolling and flipping will fluff this topper and keep it from getting saggy spots. That action will make your bed softer for many years to come!
Note: A doctor's prescription is required for this item. It is a Federal Law that requires you to provide proof of medical need for a bed without flame retardants, which is the all cotton sleeping surfaces.
