Just think of all the appliances that you can auto turn on when you need them and off when you don't. Installation is simple. 1 Begin by setting the actual time. This is done by turning the wheel clockwise until the arrow is pointing to the correct time. 2 Next, set the pins for the desired on/off times. Pull pins up for "Off" and push down for "On". Set the top switch to the 'Timer On' set- ting and plug into wall outlet. 3 Plug desired appliance into timer unit. 4 Make sure both wall outlet and appliance are turned on. Timer is now activated. To manual override settings switch to 'Outlet On' and switch back to 'Timer On' to return controlled settings. Lime Light
Having a night light on at night is both safe and com- forting. This LED light uses 75% less energy than a conventional night-light and lasts 10x longer. Simply plug in and save. Uses only 26 cents per year in electricity.
Armadillo CFL
Lighting consumes roughly 9% of the electricity used in a typical home, as each incandescent bulb can cost $15 per year. Switching to CFLs will make a measurable difference: With its energy efficient technology, each bulb costs only $4 per year in electricity, plus it will last up to 6x longer than incandescent bulbs. You've probably heard that CFLs contain mercury, and wonder if you can have the energy-savings of CFL lights but not their inherent risk of mercury exposure? This bulb with its protective casing is the answer. You'll enjoy its warm and pleasant light spectrum. And if it breaks, you will appreciate it even more when the glass and mercury is contained in the casing. The Armadillo is installed like a standard light bulb.
Be sure that your light switch is in the "Off" position. Contact your local municipality for disposal instructions for this and other CFL bulbs. This is not a dimmable CFL and is not compatible with the Eco Dimmer. This bulb also saves you $280 over its lifespan and thousands of gallons of water per year per bulb. Water you ask? Yes, generating electricity at power plants consumes massive amounts of water, upwards of 10,000 gallons per minute for a 1,000-megawatt power plant. This means that a 60-watt incandescent light bulb consumes more than a gallon of water per hour of light. While you will not see this cost on your bill, it is a cost to us all since this water is then not available for our needs.
