The HealthMate™ Plus provides extra-strength air filtration for a 1500 sq. ft. room, using HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Arresting) filters, a filter developed by the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission to filter out radioactive particles and is 5 times more effective than electronic or electrostatic methods. Our filters use true HEPA, with 99.97% filtering efficiency at greater than .3 microns. Most HEPA filters only produce 95% efficiency at this size. The HealthMate™ line of air filters are the only air filters in current production which use Permanent Split Capacitor motors. They are just as powerful as standard shaded pole motors but cost 50% less to operate and run more quietly. The HealthMate™ uses charcoal and zeolite for absorbing chemicals and odors. Filters and prefilters should be changed every 5 years. We offer these units in textured black, white, or beige. They look like end tables and move easily on casters. They draw air from all four sides, allowing you to place them almost anywhere, and send the filtered air out only one side. Each unit is guaranteed to produce air that exceeds quality standards set by EPA, OSHA and other government agencies for residential, office, commercial, schools, institutions and medical facilities.
