Greenhome.com Chairman Invited to EMCEE the Cleantech Open Awards Gala

Greenhome.com’s Chairman, Neal Dikeman, was invited to serve as Master of Ceremonies of the 5th Annual Cleantech Open Awards Gala, the “Academy Awards of Cleantech”, at the Center for Performing Arts in San Jose on November 17, 2010.
The Cleantech Open is the largest cleantech business competition in the world, featuring 18 semi-finalists from 5 regions around the country, and $250,000 in prizes. Neal Dikeman, Chairman of Greenhome.com, is a long time cleantech blogger on CleantechBlog.com. Neal Dikeman’s merchant banking firm, Jane Capital Partners LLC, recently acquired Greenhome.com.
Separately, on November 17, Greenhome.com again sponsored the Pachamama Alliance’s Annual Fundraising Luncheon. Nearly 1,500 people gathered at Fort Mason in San Francisco for annual event, fundraising for the Pachamama Alliance’s twin missions: To preserve the Earth’s tropical rainforests by empowering the indigenous people who are its natural custodians; and To contribute to the creation of a new global vision of equity and sustainability for all. As in past years, Greenhome.com contributed ecofriendly paper goods and cleaning supplies for the event.
