With Earth Day 2011 just around the corner, we at Greenhome.com would like to recognize this day as an opportunity to invite you to make a difference every day. Whether at home, work or out on the town, we are continually faced with choices and decisions, all of which greatly impact our planet. This year, we are asking you to join us in our pledge to become more green by taking part in our "12 Days of Earth Day" campaign.
The idea behind the campaign is simple: For each of the twelve days leading up to Earth Day, try replacing an old habit with a greener one, such as we suggest. We realize that being eco-friendly isn't always the easiest and most convenient option. That is why we created small steps to help break old habits, start new ones, and ease into the transition of a greener lifestyle. An example might be turning off a few unnecessary lights in the office, or organizing a carpool. Each day Green Home will feature a helpful product relevant to that particular day's objective.

Think of this commitment as a pledge; a promise to yourself, to your family and friends, and to our world. There is no fine print, no obligation, no hidden agenda - only the simple reminder that you too can make a difference, no matter how small.
