Why an LED desk lamp? LED lighting is the best energy conserving lighting option, period! LEDs emit bright, beautiful, natural white light, ideal for reading or desk work. They use 1/20th the energy of incandescent bulbs and 1/5th the energy of fluorescent bulbs. Our lamp is brighter than other LED desk lamps. It boasts a whopping 50 cool white LEDs all working together to provide a very bright 210 lumens of focused light (about equal to an 85 watt inandescent). It is rated at a very high Kelvin number, 5000, which means it’s closest to natural sunlight. An ultra-cool design with many articulations means flexibility and usability.

The lamp spins on the base, has a cantalever arm, panel tilt, and overall is adjustable in 5 different ways, for maximum practicality. With an electronic ballast, this lamp consumes almost no power when turned off, unlike other LED adapter-powered lamps that consume almost as much power when they're off as when they're on (which is still very little, but nonetheless…).

LED light bulbs feature a lifespan of 60,000 hours, averaging 17 years at eight hours per day! A comparable fluorescent (CFL) bulb lasts only 10,000 hours and an incandescent bulb lasts a mere 1,500 hours.

LED light bulbs are Mercury-free, and unlike CFLs, they do not require special disposal and are even recyclable at some locations.
