Based at the company's headquarters in Newton, Mushkin reports to UNICCO president and COO, George Keches, and is responsible for human resources strategy for the company's 19,000 employees in operations across North America.
Mushkin leads headquarters and regional staff and has overall responsibility for the human resource policies, programs and practices of the company. He oversees UNICCO's staffing, compensation, labor relations, training, development and performance management functions. Mushkin is also a member of the privately-held company's operating committee. Dixon Speas Associates, a worldwide consulting firm involved in aviation planning and management. He was also in public service as director of management services for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. Previously, he was the Massachusetts division manager for Geri-Care Nursing Centers of America, Inc. Between receiving his B.A. from Cornell University and his M.B.A. from Northeastern University, Mushkin served as an Army Officer with the 101st Airborne Division at Camp Eagle in Vietnam.
