Many people believe that the importance of green dry cleaning is based largely in the desire to keep our planet clean, safe, and beautiful for the long-haul. While that is definitely a hugely important factor in green dry cleaning and using green products and methods, green dry cleaning is also extremely important for the health and safety of you and your family.

It’s not a huge step to make to consider that something that is horrible for the environment is also horrible for you, but many people fail to make the connection. One of the most dangerous and toxic chemicals in traditional dry cleaning—both for the environment and for human health and safety—is a chemical called PERC.
